How do I access the online booking system?
You get a personal club account and you will be given a Member ID and PIN Code to access it. You navigate to the online booking system at
https://adelsquash.clubsolution.co.uk/ and log in. From there you can charge your account, book courts and manage your club account.
How do I charge my club account?
This is done by secure electronic transfer from a debit or credit card. The minimum transfer is £40.
There are two court booking views, weekly and daily. To book a court you must navigate to the daily view for the day to be booked. You will see available courts with the court fee. Click on the court slot you want to book. On the next page, you can enter your opponent and confirm the booking. You can set up your account to send email notifications of bookings.
How far in advance can I book a court?
Fourteen days.
How many courts can you have booked at the same time?
You can have up to ten peak-hour bookings at a time.
Can I book both courts for the same time?
No.
How do I recover my opponent’s half of the court fee?
If your opponent logs on before the cut-off date, they are invited to pay their half of the court fee. If they pay, then you get refunded half of the court fee. The cut-off date is 14 days after the booked date. If the cut-off date has passed or your opponent has declined the invitation, then they can still transfer money to your account from theirs with a manual transfer at any time. Of course you could just take cash from them.
How do I book to play with a visitor?
You can specify that you are playing a visitor when you book the court, and you will be charged the visitor fee. You can edit an existing member booking to change it to a visitor booking. Similarly, a visitor booking can be edited to specify an member opponent, and the visitor fee will be refunded.
What if I don’t know who I will be playing yet?
You should specify that you are playing a visitor, and then update the booking when you know which member you are playing. The visitor fee will get refunded.
What if I book a court and my opponent cannot play after all?
You can cancel the court (see below), or you can edit the booking and change the opponent. Do not use the booking to play someone else without changing the opponent. If you are caught doing so, both players will be fined.
What if I book a court and I cannot play?
You can cancel the court (see below). Unfortunately this is the only option with the current system. If your opponent still wants to use the court, get them to rebook the slot as soon as possible after you cancel it.
Even though this is inconvenient you must not allow others to use a court booking in your name. If you are found to have done this, then you and the players will be fined.
You are welcome to do this but the system cannot deal with more than two players per booking, so you will need to sort out the fees.
If you want to book one or both courts for a round robin with visitors, make sure you pay the visitor fee for each visitor. If necessary you can make a manual payment to 1004 Miscellaneous.
Can I book while at the club?
Yes. You book on the touch-screen PC kiosk.
Can I charge my club account at the club?
Not from the touch-screen PC kiosk. But you could use a smartphone or tablet PC with internet access. If you are really stuck, then you could ask another member to make a manual transfer from their account to yours. You must not ask someone to book a court for you, nor book a court for someone else.
How do I find out how much credit is on my Club account?
Your balance is displayed beneath the member name line near the top of the screen when logged in.
Can I cancel a court booking?
Yes, and if you do so more than 48 hours in advance, then the court fee is refunded. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, then the fee will still be refunded if someone else rebooks the slot. So it is in your own interest to cancel a court that you will not be using, as well as being good etiquette. In addition, after booking a court you have 15 minutes to cancel with full refund even if it is less than 48 hours before the court time.
If your opponent has already used the automatic option to pay their half of the court fee, then you will get a checkbox option to repay them during the cancellation process.
Can I ask for a refund if I don’t use a court that I have booked?
No. The lights and heating will be on even if you are not there. But don’t forget that you can cancel a booking. In exception circumstances the Bookings Administrator has discretion to refund.
Can I pre-book a regular court slot?
No.
